Entry to the museum is FREE but we rely on your generosity to keep it that way
The Memorial Hall is open between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily starting at the beginning of the Easter Holidays until the end of October. We also open for Dunster By Candlelight.
(Dunster Museum and Doll Collection reserves the right to change these times without notice)
Schools and groups are welcome. If you wish to visit out of hours please contact us to arrange this.
The Museum can assist researchers with enquiries about the collection. Please contact us for more information.
We aim to provide a friendly, accessible environment for all our visitors and the best possible access to our building, exhibitions and collections.
The Museum has one main entrance with a couple of stairs, but we do have a collapsible ramp for wheelchairs. The Doll Collection is on the first floor but it is also accessible by lift. Please ask a Hall Guide if you need assistance.
We have a unisex wheelchair accessible W/C on the ground floor which also has a baby-changing table.
There are some public disabled parking spaces on the High Street outside the Museum but these are subject to availability. Other than this you are welcome to drop people outside the Museum and park in the public car park on Dunster Steep (near the Exmoor National Park Centre) which has more disabled parking spaces.
If you are in need of assistance or have any queries concerning these arrangements then please contact us
We currently sell a variety of different items in our shop, from dolls and ornaments. All proceeds from purchases directly support the Museum.
We have a large, refurbished room to hire with approximately 20 chairs, please click here for more information.
If you would like to hire the Snooker Room, or gather any more information on playing Life Pool or Snooker at the Dunster Memorial Hall, then please get in touch via our Contact Us page.
