Get Involved

Dunster Museum and Doll Collection is run by a dedicated team of volunteers and enthusiasts. We are always looking for new faces to join our team and help with our vital work.

Hall Guides supervise the public, enhance visitors’ experiences by answering questions, and give information about the exhibits as well as the history of the building and village.

Fundraising is crucial to the Museum and Doll Collection, as a charity we only make money from grants, fundraising events, gifts and sales. Help to raise money for the Museum and Doll Collection by researching and submitting funding applications, running events to raise donations, and researching new ways to generate contributions, grants and gifts.

Hall maintenance is always needed from painting, deep cleaning to fixing something that’s broken.

Archiving and Cataloguing – urgently required to help research, catalogue and appropriately archive a range of items including dolls, photos, documents and finds. Our aim is an online database, espcially for people to explore our doll collection.

Local research – We have a small team exploring and researching the history of the parish, local historians or newcomers keen to investigate the area are always welcome.
