Room Hire for local arts and crafts exhibitions and sales
We are keen to support local artisans and now rent a space for local people to market their wares. Dunster Museum is in a prominent High Street location and is very busy especially during holiday season. We have a range of spaces available which would suit the sale of paintings, photographs, a wide range of crafts, homemade jams, cakes or chocolates, or even home grown fruit, vegetables or flowers.
The only restrictions are that items must have a handmade element and you are from Dunster, surrounding villages or Minehead.
We also have one room available for hire.
Committee Room
Available to be rented on a daily or monthly basis (4 weeks running Monday to Sunday). Rates are £40 per month (equivalent to £10 / week). The room is on the first floor and is approximately 5m x 5m. This room is only available for hanging art. There is no need to man the room, but all sales must be arranged and managed by yourself. The room is not locked as it is used occasionally as a meeting room for local groups.
The room has approximately 20 chairs, a ceiling mounted projector, speakers and screen for use.
Rent is payable in advance. All items are left at the owners risk. CCTV cameras operate in both rooms.
